The island by Natasha Preston: a frustrating read
Welcome, fellow book lovers, to another candid review from your host, The Ink-Stained Ghost. Today, we're diving into "The Island" by Natasha Preston. Get ready for an honest take, because this one left me with strong feelings, and not the good kind.
The Island-Natasha Preston
(SPOILER)
The Island...No, just no. This one made me so angry. I loved the storyline, we had a good start, nice characters, a good catch of interest. Then....IT DOESN'T END! They leave us on a stupid cliffhanger. I don't feel like it even deserves a long review. So it's going in Hated. 0/5
Who should (and shouldn't) read this book.
Honestly, this book is perfect for people who genuinely hate reading. If you want to experience the frustration of an unfinished story, then by all means, pick this up. For everyone else, especially those who appreciate a complete narrative, you might want to skip "The Island." As for whether I'd buy it for my own shelf, it's definitely better as a library read. Save your money for a book that actually has an ending!
